Hellooooo everybodyyyy!!! I hope everyone had an amazing week!! Mine was pretty good!!

On Monday we had a district activity and we obviously played volleyball hehehe. And man I am so out of shape because, for the rest of the week, I was so sore!! But man it was fun and me and Sister Stevens dominated!
The rest of the week was pretty average but still good. We pretty much had member dinners almost every single night so we are eating super good and apparently people are noticing... we were on our ward coordination meeting and our ward mission leader asked if we were being fed and so we were telling him how good we were eating. And he looked at us and literally said yeah I can tell it looks like you've gained some weight.... I think he was kidding but let me just say it was a good thing I was on Zoom because someone was gonna get punched, *laughing emoji* anyway,  learn from other people's mistakes and never say that to anyone!!

We had a cool miracle this week tho!! We got a referral from our Bishop for this guy named Greg so we called him and this man told us his WHOLE life story and man is he interesting. He told us he was a bounty hunter and straight up told us his kill count and everything. Anyway, he asked us for a Book of Mormon because his got stolen and it was just so cool so we started teaching him.
I also gave a random man my last 10 dollars of my birthday money because he ran out of gas in our parking lot and I've been sad about it ever since but he told us he was going to come to our church service next Sunday and he better because I paid for that service lolol!
I can't think of anything else so I hope everyone has an amazing week!! Love you all!!

Helloooo everybodyyyyy!! I hope you all had an amazing week because I had a pretty darn good one so let's get into it!! It's gonna be a long one so there's your warning...

On Monday me and Sister Stevens went out to lunch at my favorite restaurant here for my birthday!! Afterward, we went thrifting and I found some really good stuff!! I also got a sick Polaroid camera for my birthday and I'm absolutely obsessed with it!!
On Tuesday I turned 21!! Literally, how am I that old?? I could buy alcohol if I wanted.... stay tuned hehe..jkjkjk. Anyway, that day we got to do some service at a funeral for a family member in the ward. It was really cute but it was pretty tragic how they lost him. He was 30 years old and got into an argument with a family friend and the friend shot him. There were a lot of people there and it was a non-member funeral. It really made me think about how important the knowledge of the plan of salvation is because a lot of the people there were so not doing ok. It's a good thing we know what we know because it's brought me a lot of peace and comfort. Later that day, we had a lot of lessons and a sweet family in my ward fed us for dinner!! I ate WAY TOO MUCH cake that day because 3 different members made me some.
On Wednesday a mission tour with Elder Sikahema started. Elder Sikahema played in the NFL for 8 years and was a boxer so he's a cool dude. He's in the area presidency and me and Sister Stevens had to do a role play in front of almost the whole mission. It was terrifying but it went pretty well. We got to see all the other missionaries and it was so fun!!!
On Thursday we went to service so we planted tomato plants outside for 4 hours and the weather decided it was summer. The temperature got up to 86 degrees so I got absolutely fried and ended up looking like a tomato #firstsunburnoftheyear.
The next day we had MLC with Elder Sikahema and yes I got made fun of for being pale. It was a good meeting!! I love stuff like that because we just get spiritually fed so well. Something I've been thinking of is how a lot of people in the world think that God is a "which" instead of a "who." They think He is a thing instead of a person. We talked about how each one of us has a divine identity and God is a person who loves us more than we will ever know!! How awesome is that??
Now for the story you have all been waiting for ... yesterday, we went to a member's home for dinner. When we left, we saw a ton of deer, so of course we had to get out and feed them some Cheez-Its. I  had one in my hand and started trying to get close to the deer while Sister Stevens was standing behind me videoing. I looked back at her and then looked back at the deer and I must've spooked the deer or something so he jumped and ran, my fight or flight response kicked in and I turned around and ran so fast while throwing the Cheez-its at it. In case anyone was wondering cheez-itz are impossible to throw. But once I finally got to the car, I turned around and Sister Stevens was standing in the middle of the road laughing SOO hard with her legs crossed and she straight up peed her pants.  It definitely was the highlight of the week. We sent the video to our district and instead of making fun of her for literally peeing her pants, they came for my throat for how I threw the cracker but man was it funny!!!
Anyway, I hope everyone has an awesome week like always!!

Helloooo everybodyyyy!! So last week I named my email about the story of locking us out of the library and then I forgot to include it so here you go lolol. We were going to the church library to print some stuff out and instead of giving us a key, the ward just showed us where the hidden one is. We got the key and while we were printing we had to get something out of the car. We ran out of the room and the door shut behind us right as that happened, I realized that I had left the key and my phone on the counter. We had to wait 30 minutes for a member to come to rescue us.

Anyway, on to this week... Man was it crazy!! On Monday we had our last district activity of the transfer so we played volleyball and just a bunch of random games and then we went to Tacobell.
On Tuesday IT WAS MY 9 MONTH MARK!! How crazy is that??? Literally, how am I halfway done? I do not understand how I have been here this long!! But it has been the funnest and hardest thing I have ever done and I wouldn't change it for the world!! Sister Andrews made a cute setup (which my mom helped with) while I was in the shower and it was the cutest thing ever!!
This week was full of Sister Andrews saying goodbye to people because she was going home. Wednesday we were driving to district council and it was raining cats and dogs. Like I could barely see anything and I was scared I was going to hydroplane!! We made it safely. Later that night Sister Andrews said goodbye to the Chisletts and that was sad. I found out that night who my companion was going to be and then we had transfers the next day!
We got all of Sister Andrews's stuff out of the apartment and drove down to Southfield for transfers. Killing my 3rd companion in a row SUCKED but I got a really good one in exchange. Her name is Sister Stevens and she is the cutest!! We are having an absolute party!!
Friday night our recent convert Izzie took us to dinner and she bought me a 14 OZ STEAK!! That sucker was absolutely huge but it was delicious!!
On Sunday it was Easter and it was just so good. The church service was just so special and I am so grateful for my Savior and what He did for me. Because of Him I am able to live with my family forever and I am able to live again!! I find so much peace and comfort through Him and I don't know where I would be without Him. GOD IS SO GOOD!!!
Anyway, I think that's all that has happened pretty much. This next week is going to be absolutely crazy so buckle up!! Have an awesome week and someone tell my mom to put some sunscreen on hehehe.

Helloooo everybodyyyy!! What even happened this week? It went by super fast but really slow at the same time.

On Monday for p day, we went to Flint to play pickleball with the senior couple, the Todds, and the sisters. It was super fun!!
On Tuesday we did some service outside and like the pale person I am, I got sunburnt because the sun actually decided to come out. After service, we went on exchanges with the Rochester sisters and that was super fun. I went to Rochester with Sister Jensen but I am super lame and forgot to take a picture.
On Wednesday we switched back after district council and later that night we had dinner at our bishop's house. They told us to invite one of our friends and we didn't know who to invite. Sister Andrews randomly thought to invite the lady that butt-dialed the Lake Orion Elders whom we have never met in person (I think I told you guys about that last week). Anyway, she ended up coming and she told us that that day was her late husband's birthday and if we hadn't invited her, she would be at home alone!! That literally rocked us!! God is so good!!!
The rest of the week was basically focused on General Conference and man was it SOO GOOD!! If you didn't get a chance to watch it, go do it right now!! There were a lot of talks on the Atonement and Easter given the fact that Easter is next week. There were also a lot of talks on being peacemakers and avoiding contention. I felt super called out but also inspired to do better!! I love the prophet and apostles so much! I know that they are called by God to lead this church.
Anyway, next time you hear from me I will have a new companion because Sister Andrews is going home! It's crazy that the transfer is already over!! I love you all soo much and hope you have the best week!!
