Helloooo everybody!! This week has been pretty average but a good one! So let's get started!
Monday: For P day Sister Nelson and I went out for lunch at the Asian Grill buffet and then we went and got our nails done. It was sooo fun. That night I packed for exchanges and we met the Sister Training Leaders (STL) halfway to Toledo. When I got to their apartment I forgot what a real kitchen looked like. Their apartment is nice. Me and Sister Fenton stayed up late just talking. It was a fun time.
Tuesday: After all of our studies, Sister Fenton and I went out to lunch at this place called Piada Italian street food. It's legit a Costa Vida but for Italian food. It was so good. After that, we went and met with their friend Eunice. Eunice is an 84-year-old woman that is getting baptized this Saturday!! She is just the sweetest lady ever and she has the strongest testimony!! I also met some people from their ward named the Borns. They have a 37-year-old daughter that got hit by a drunk driver when she was 5 years old and she was in a coma for 4 1/2 months. She is the cutest! As we were getting ready to leave, she got up and gave me and Sister Fenton a picture she had colored for us. That night we made the BEST chocolate chip cookies I have ever had. It was just the best time ever and I love Sister Fenton!!
Wednesday: We drove back to Tiffin and we all went to District Council. The district leader gave a lesson that involved us playing with eggs outside and then Elder Parry gave us a huge bag of chick-fil-a chicken. That night while knocking on doors, pretty much everyone we met were Pagan or just not nice, but it was a fun time lol.
Thursday: One of my and Sister Nelson's favorite thing to do is explain movies to each other that neither of us has seen, so we did that while we did service. It was so much fun because Sister Nelson acts out the movie scene by scene and it's so funny. It was my mom's birthday and I got to facetime her!! Other than that, it was a pretty average day.
Friday: We went and got air put into our tires and that didn't take nearly as long as we thought it was going. So, we went to visit one of our friends but they weren't home so we knocked on doors around his house. We ended up meeting this really nice lady named Francis. When she answered the door I did the standard door approach and she just stared at me for a solid 30 seconds. She then said "you're making me second guess", we didn't know what she meant by that but she invited us to visit her whenever. We're hoping we can teach her!! That night we taught our friend Alex and while we were standing outside with him, this girl walked past us, and then she hesitated, turned around, and asked what we were talking about. She had tattoos and piercings and I didn't think anything of it. Then she said she is a member of the church and asked where and when we go to church because she wasn't able to find it!! She was so cool!
Saturday: It was a Fostoria day so we had a lesson with Kyla and then we headed to the Clouse's. We ended up moving an entire 8 ft Christmas tree up 3 flights of stairs to their attic and it was eventful. That night we were driving home and we were stopped at a red light. Sister Nelson just randomly ran the red light after we had been sitting there. I was really confused and she couldn't tell me why she did it hahaha. We laughed for the rest of the night because of that!!
Sunday: We went to Perrysburg for stake conference and while I was talking to people, a lady came up to me, and turns out she is the mom of one of my best friends from college! So shout out to Katie, Kennedy, and Garret (if you read this) I took a picture with them and it was so fun meeting them!! Also right before the session started, I was walking around and I saw a guy that served in Elko when I was in middle school. His name was Elder Knight and he was over at my house for dinner many times. It was crazy to see him but soooo fun. That night I dyed our friend Amy's hair blue so it was a pretty eventful day.
